Jersey Fusion Women’s Basketball Club is a non-profit ball club with a unique and exciting prospect for our women’s basketball players and youth. Our club is part of the semi-professional women’s basketball league (WBCBL), which includes teams from coast to coast. This organization began because two women (Audrey Taylor & Geneva Livingston) made a commitment and dedication from the pure love for the game to provide an opportunity for women athletes to play at a competitive level and pursue their dreams to play professional women's basketball.
Our team consist of local stars such as Geneva Livingston, Leeah Thomas along with other Division I standouts Carrie Moore, Tomora Young, and Katie Adams. (see our roster)
Our primary goal is to provide exciting, quality, professional basketball and create a venue for athletes to gain exposure of professional coaches. As well as provide affordable family entertainment to local fans during the spring and summer months of May, June, July and August.
Our focus is to build a strong organization that’s built on stable management, skilled/committed players, quality coaches, involvement in the community and sound business practices.
This women's basketball club gives adult players an opportunity to develop their skills and reach their full potential both on and off the court. Through basketball camps and clinics, our club hopes to help the community’s youth and local sports teams improve their work ethic, develop an aptitude for leadership, learn communication and goal setting skills, and improve their overall attitudes about life. We as players believe in achieving the highest level of basketball and we want to encourage that dream among our fellow ball players and fans.
We hope that you all come out and support the Jersey Fusion! |
